Learn More About Our Dental Membership Program in Parma, OH

If you’re ready to learn more about our dental membership program, please get in touch with us to schedule a consultation appointment.

What is a Dental Membership Plan?

Dental membership plans operate on a fundamental principle of direct engagement between a dental practice and the individuals they serve. Unlike traditional dental insurance, which involves a third-party payer, these plans establish a direct financial relationship between the patient and the dental office. The typical structure involves patients paying a recurring fee, either monthly or annually, in exchange for a defined set of preventive dental services and discounts on a broader range of other treatments.

How do I access my plan online through Jordan Job DDS?

First, you don’t need to log in for your plan to operate. If you would like to view your plan details, please go to:

https://portal.empowerdds.com/PatientPortal/Index/BUBBMKJY

You can view details about your plan and restorative cash from here, add family members, and update your payment methods.

How do I find my restorative cash balance?

You’ll see your restorative cash balance in the upper right-hand corner when you log in. We have your running balance at our office, too, so feel free to ask what your balance is when you are in for your usual visits.

How do I update my payment method?

Expired credit card? You can always call us to update your payment method, but there are options if you prefer to do it yourself. Follow the login steps above and select “My Account” on the left side. You’ll hit “My Account” again in the drop-down menu. At the top center of the page is a button that says “My Payment Method.” You’ll go here to update your billing address and form of payment. Don’t forget to hit “save!”

What are the advantages of a dental membership plan compared to paying for dental care out-of-pocket?
  1. One significant benefit is the predictability of costs for essential preventive care. Our plan includes regular dental cleanings, routine check-up examinations, and necessary X-rays as part of the membership, often at no additional charge beyond the fixed membership fee. This allows individuals to budget for their basic dental needs without the uncertainty of fluctuating per-service costs.
  2. Our plan offers members discounts on restorative and cosmetic dental procedures. These discounts can lead to substantial savings on treatments such as fillings, dental crowns, root canals, and tooth extractions, compared to the full cost an uninsured patient would otherwise incur.
  3. Another advantage is the transparency and clarity in pricing. Unlike the often-complex billing processes associated with out-of-pocket payments, dental membership plans outline the included services and discount percentages upfront, allowing members to know exactly what to expect regarding costs, thereby reducing the likelihood of surprise bills.
  4. The structure of a membership plan can encourage patients to seek regular dental care and accept necessary treatments. By providing a sense of value through included preventive services and discounts, these plans can motivate individuals to prioritize their oral health. This could lead to earlier detection and treatment of dental issues, which can be more cost-effective in the long run. The regular payment model may also foster a feeling of investment in dental health, making individuals more inclined to utilize the available benefits.
Do the benefits of a dental membership plan roll over if unused?

The included benefits within the dental membership plan, particularly the preventive care services such as regular cleanings and check-up examinations, do not roll over to the following membership year if they are not used. The membership fee provides access to a defined set of services and discounts during the active one-year membership period. If a member does not utilize all of the cleanings or exams included in that year, those specific benefits do not accumulate or carry over to the following year. Similarly, any discounts offered on other dental procedures are available as needed during the membership year and do not accrue if not used.

What are the payment options for the dental membership plan?

One option is to pay the annual membership fee in a single, upfront lump sum. This can be convenient for individuals who prefer to pay once a year.

Alternatively, you can pay the membership fee in monthly installments. Spreading the cost out over the year can make it more manageable.

Is there a waiting period before I can utilize the benefits of the dental membership plan?

One of the notable advantages of dental membership plans, particularly when compared to traditional dental insurance, is the general absence of waiting periods before benefits can be utilized. The benefits become active immediately after an individual signs up and pays the required membership fee. This immediate access to care is a significant benefit for those with immediate dental needs or who wish to begin receiving routine preventive services without delay.

Can I use any dentist with the Jordan M. Job DDS dental membership plan?

Our dental membership plan is specific to the office of Jordan M. Job DDS. This direct relationship between the patient and our practice is fundamental to the membership plan model. It allows us to build stronger relationships with our patients and offer a more personalized approach to dental care.

Can I combine the dental membership plan with other insurance?

No, the membership plan is designed for those patients who do not have other insurance.
