The Story Behind Jordan M. Job DDS

Dr. Jordan M. Job hails from Akron, Ohio, where he was born and raised. He completed his education at Revere High School and Ashland University, earning a bachelor’s degree in biology and an associate’s degree in mathematics. During his time at Ashland University, Dr. Job not only excelled academically but also showcased his athletic prowess as a four-year letterman on the wrestling team, earning recognition as an Academic All-American in 2007 and 2008.

Continuing his academic journey, Dr. Job pursued a Doctorate in Dental Surgery at The Ohio State University. Upon graduating in 2012, he joined Family Dental Care in Washington Courthouse, Ohio, gaining comprehensive experience in various aspects of dentistry. In 2014, an opportunity presented itself when Dr. Job acquired the dental practice of Dr. William T. Stano, a seasoned practitioner in Parma, Ohio, with over 40 years of experience. The connection between Dr. Job and Dr. Stano went beyond professional ties, as Dr. Stano had known Jordan for many years, having attended dental school with Jordan’s father at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. After some negotiations, Dr. Job embraced the chance to take over Dr. Stano’s practice, turning it into his own, a seamless and fitting transition.

Advanced Technology for Enhanced Dental Care

Part of providing a great dental experience for our patients involves using dental technology. Dr. Job is always researching new technology that improves your comfort and safety and gets you out of the dental chair faster.

Intraoral Cameras for Detailed Examinations

Intraoral cameras are fascinating because they give you a picture of your oral health that you may not have seen before! An intraoral camera is a small digital imaging device that Dr. Job uses to scan your teeth while performing a dental exam. As he does, you’ll see the images appear instantly on your chairside monitor, and you can follow along.

Digital X Rays for Precise Diagnosis

We need to take x-rays so Dr. Job can get the full picture of what’s happening with your oral health. The insides of your teeth and between teeth and under your gums are areas where cavities and gum disease commonly start, but we can’t see them during a visual exam alone.

TRIOS Digital Impressions for Comfortable Procedures

Even if you don’t mind going to the dentist, you probably hate the thought of having dental impressions taken. Fortunately, Dr. Job can eliminate the messy process using leading-edge digital impressions.

TVs in Treatment Rooms for a Relaxing Experience

Dr. Jordan Job and his dental team understand that most people don’t like dental visits. We do everything to ensure that you’re comfortable, but sometimes distraction with your favorite TV show or news program is the most effective way to help you relax!

Insurance & payment options

Get the treatment you need without breaking the bank.

Financial needs shouldn’t dictate whether or not you have access to high-quality dentistry. Our goal is to make it easier to budget for dental treatment by offering low and no-interest payment options and planning your treatment in stages so you don’t have to pay for everything at once.

We accept all insurance besides Medicaid or CareSource plans. We can offer you a benefits check before coming in!

Are you in-network with Delta Dental, Cigna and MetLife?

We are only in network for one insurance, which is Delta Dental. Everything else would be considered out of network but we can still submit to those companies. It depends on if you have out of network coverage.

What if I don’t have dental insurance—do you offer a membership plan or cash-pay discounts?

Yes we do! We have an in-house membership plan that is for more cleaning-based visits. Please visit our website to inquire or contact us by phone. We do offer a 10% cash discount. Other payment plans can be arranged in-house or with our other company financing options, Care Credit, and Cherry. Both companies run a soft credit check, and you can get a pre-approval for dental work. Please ask us for more information on those as well.

Yes we do! In-house financing options typically do not exceed a 6-month period unless other arrangements are made. If you need a longer period of time to pay for a larger treatment, we recommend Care Credit or Cherry.

Yes! We always reserve emergency time and do our best to ensure you are seen promptly.

Do you offer sedation dentistry for anxious patients?

We do not use sedation at our office. However, we do offer nitrous oxide to patients. It induces a sense of calm and well-being, which is particularly beneficial for anxious patients undergoing procedures.  We also offer oral sedation, and we recommend that you have a ride to and from the office for your appointment.

How often should I schedule a dental checkup and cleaning?

We recommend that patients be seen twice a year!

I’m nervous about going to the dentist—what do you do to help anxious patients?

We are a friendly environment. We will always take our time with you and put you at ease the best way we can! If assurance from us is still not helpful, we can offer nitrous oxide to calm you during a procedure. It is safe for you to drive after and puts you in a calm state.

What should I do if I have a dental emergency after hours?

Please feel free to leave us a voicemail or contact Dr. Job directly. His cell phone number is always on the voicemail and he can do his best to assist you while away from the office.

Do dental X‑rays here use low radiation, and how often do I need them

Yes! We recommend x-rays once a year, and they are harmless. If, for whatever reason, you do not want them, we never force anyone to have them taken unless medically necessary.

How do you keep your office clean and safe for patients?

To maintain a clean and safe dental office, we regularly disinfect all clinical contact surfaces, sterilize instruments, use disposable barriers during x-ray procedures, keep the reception and waiting area clean, ensure proper ventilation, and adhere to industry guidelines from reputable organizations such as the CDC and OSHA. This protocol is done daily and after every patient is seen!

What should I expect at my first visit?

You will be greeted by Sabreena at the front desk and will fill out paperwork. If you are here for a cleaning, we have our lovely hygienists Lisa and Michelle. They will take you back for a teeth cleaning and updated X-rays. Dr Job will come in towards the end of your cleaning to give a thorough exam. If you are here for a different procedure, one of our kind dental assistants, Jaidyn, Vlad, or Lynda, will take you back and talk with you to see what may be going on. X-rays may be necessary, and Dr. Job will perform any work needed from there and provide you with the best care. After your visit is over, we will schedule you for future visits and thank you for choosing our office

We require a copy of your driver’s license and any relevant insurance information you have. Paperwork is given to you in the office, or a link will be sent to your phone to fill out paperwork through our automated appointment messaging system.

Will you explain my treatment options and costs before starting any work?

Absolutely! Treatment is always reviewed with the patient before anything is done, and we can discuss the fee if needed.
